Holy Cross head coach Eric DeSormeaux says his team is on schedule in its quest for a state championship  "At this point of the year, we are focused on peeking our team both mentally and physically at the state meet," DeSormeaux said. "There are a lot of strong teams in Division II, I've told all of my wrestlers it's not where your seeded in the state tournament but where you finish. Nothing is a given and I hope to see the guys compete with some fire in their gut."

DeSormeaux says his coaching staff has played a large part of the team's success.  "I would also like to mention my assistant coaches that are doing a great job of not only teaching wrestling but guiding our boys towards becoming young men," DeSormeaux said. "The mental aspect of wrestling cannot be overlooked and I am blessed with a staff of dedicated men who believe in the Holy Cross program as much as I do. They include T.J. Miller, Carlos Bertot, Donald Ortego, Richie Dixon, Mike Melano, and Dennis Bush."

Holy Cross will play host to the city tournament next weekend.
