With six wrestlers in the finals, Rummel had a commanding
lead over the rest of the field. Rummel also had a complete sweep of the
individual awards, claiming both Outstanding Wrestler awards and the Most
Pins-Least Time award. Jeff Slaughter of Rummel and Sheridan Moran of
Lafayette both became two-time Ken Cole winners.
