The tournament field increased to ten teams, with each school limited to one entrant per weight class. South Cameron successfully defended its title, and also repeated as Division II State Champions. South Cameron scored 208 points, followed by Acadiana (141.5), Tara (135) and Jeanerette (134.5). Ward Theriot (105 lbs.) and James Boudreaux (126#s) of South Cameron both repeated as champions. Boudreaux was selected the Outstanding Wrestler.
