Annual Ken Cole Lafayette Invitational Tournament

1996 marked the twentieth anniversary of the Ken Cole
Tournament. 376 wrestlers from 37 schools made this one of the largest
fields in tournament history. Jesuit became the tem champion for an
unprecedented third time in a row. For the second year, State Champion
Daniel Cormier was forced to forfeit in the championship round due to injury -
his first loss of the year.
