Annual Ken Cole Lafayette Invitational Tournament

Comeaux High School, Lafayette, Louisiana
With some of the state's traditional powerhouses not
competing in this year's Ken Cole Invitational, several of the stronger local
teams made a strong showing. Acadiana-area wrestlers participated in the
finals of eleven of the fourteen weight classes, and seven earned first-place
titles. Both Outstanding Wrestlers were from Acadiana-area teams.
However, the tournament team champion was Parkway, the first north Louisiana
team to win the title.
