With six wrestlers in the finals, Catholic had a
commanding lead over the rest of the field. The championship finals
matches were all intense and all six-minute matches with one going into
overtime. Jack Duffard (Brother Martin @ 112 lbs.), Brady Reaux (Comeaux @
130 lbs.) and Matt Mazoch (Catholic @ 135 lbs.) all moved up one weight class
and became repeat champions. To the pleasure of the local crowd, Comeaux's
Brady Reaux was named the Outstanding Wrestler in the lower weight classes for
the second consecutive year.
