MISSION

    The mission of the Louisiana High School Wrestling Archives (LHSWA) Web site is to provide an all-encompassing history of Louisiana high school wrestling, as well as prompt results of wrestling events across the state.  Coach Bill Bofinger's (Lee High) book Ready....Wrestle already provides all one could ever want to know about the state wrestling tournament in Louisiana.  The LHSWA would like to accentuate that with results from other tournaments, dual meet results, histories of high school wrestling programs and wrestling histories of individual wrestlers, coaches and others who have had an impact on Louisiana high school wrestling.  Anyone who has ever stepped foot on a mat is welcome to participate.

NOTES

When looking at pages in the LHSWA Web site:

1)    If the name of a school is highlighted, that is a link to that school's wrestling history page;

2)    If the name of a wrestler is highlighted, that is a link to that wrestler's wrestling profile;

3)    If the weight class of a tournament is highlighted, that is a link to the bracket of that weight class in that tournament.  Brackets  are in Adobe Acrobat PDF files, and you will have to hit the "Back" button on your browser to return to the tournament index page;

4)    Most pictures in the LHSWA Web site are "thumbnails" which need to be clicked to be enlarged.  You will have to hit the "Back" button on your browser to return to the previous page.
